The news spread like wildfire on Twitter and Facebook Friday night when word that Tip Drill had fallen from 20 ft up while she was performing at King of Diamonds. Celebrities, fans, and friends took to Twitter and Facebook sending her their prayers and get well wishes along with concerns about her health. Stripping is a dangerous job, especially if you’re a performer like Tip (government name Kenisha) hanging off the ceiling beams of the facility and sliding down the pole doing tricks with no safety net or harness. The girls work hard for their money and there’s no workers comp or insurance for them. No matter what your views happen to be about strippers, she’s still a human being and I don’t find it the least bit funny when people make fun of her falling because her fall could have been fatal. This is a person’s life we’re talking about here. I’m not saying that she’s perfect but at least have some kind of respect. As of right now, I don’t know the full details but she’s ALIVE and she will recover from the fall even though the recovery time is uncertain as of yet. Plies tweeted that he will be holding a StripAThon where all of the money thrown will be sent to Tip Drill to aid her in her recovery. Follow her friend and fellow dancer @Skraw_berry to stay updated on her progress and situation. We hope you get better soon, Tip. KOD won’t be the same without you!
